     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was registered as a Associate Member, Institute of Nuclear Engineering (A.M.I.Nuc.E.)¹

     Veronica Ann Leslie Hale was born on 29 March 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Commander Timothy John Windham Hale and Penelope Ann Boothby.¹

     Ifor Morel Lewis is the son of Ivor Llewellyn Lewis.¹ He married Caroline Serena Boothby, daughter of Sir Hugo Robert Brooke Boothby, 14th Bt. and Evelyn Ann Homfray, on 7 July 1962.¹ He and Caroline Serena Boothby were divorced in 1972.¹
     He was a racehorse owner.¹
