     He gained the rank of Sergeant between 1940 and 1943 in the Royal Australian Air Force.² He fought in the Second World War.³ They farmed on Norfolk until the outbreak of World War II, when they returned to mainland Australia. In 1948, they returned to Norfolk for a few year, but returned to Australia then to stay.³

     Robert Evelyn Ross Westwood was born on 20 December 1920 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.^1,2 He was the son of John Thomas William Henry Westwood and Emily Anne Quintal.¹ He married Jill Berenice (?) at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He died on 13 December 2011 at age 90 at Norfolk Island.
     Robert Evelyn Ross Westwood usually went by his middle name of Ross.³ He gained the rank of Flight Sergeant in the in the Royal Australian Air Force.³ He fought in the Second World War.³

     Marie Greer Westwood was born in August 1946 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Thomas William Henry Westwood and Emily Anne Quintal.¹ She married Alan Sheridan.¹ She died on 5 December 2000 at age 54 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Jill Berenice (?) was born on 31 August 1927 at Norfolk Island^G.^1,2 She married Robert Evelyn Ross Westwood, son of John Thomas William Henry Westwood and Emily Anne Quintal, at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died on 6 November 2010 at age 83.²
     Her married name became Westwood.¹

     Alexander Nobbs was born on 16 September 1869 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Francis Mason Nobbs and Harriett Augusta Quintal.¹ He married Lilian Quintal, daughter of Caleb Quintal and Ann Naomi Nobbs, on 29 November 1892 at Norfolk Island^G.² He died on 4 December 1940 at age 71 at Norfolk Island.³

     Naomi Augusta Nobbs was born on 5 September 1893 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Nobbs and Lilian Quintal.¹ She married Julius Herbert Christian, son of Lorenzo Fysher Christian and Emily Maude Quintal, on 28 July 1915 at Norfolk Island^G.² She died on 31 May 1928 at age 34 at Norfolk Island^G.³
     From 28 July 1915, her married name became Christian.²

     Joan FitzMaurice is the daughter of Thomas FitzMaurice, 16th Baron of Kerry and Lixnaw and Lady Honor O’Brien.¹ She married George FitzHarris.¹
     Her married name became FitzHarris.¹

     Violet Jane Christian was born on 12 February 1916 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Julius Herbert Christian and Naomi Augusta Nobbs.¹ She married Donald Seton Reynolds, son of Walter Reynolds and May Anne Saunders, on 21 June 1939 at St. Barnabas Chapel, Norfolk Island^G.² She died on 31 October 1960 at age 44 at Trevallyn, Gosford, New South Wales, Australia^G.³ She was buried on 16 January 1969 at Kingston Cemetery, Norfolk Island^G.³
     Her married name became Reynolds.²
