     Christopher Lovell Ackroyd was born on 3 March 1934.¹ He is the son of Sir Cuthbert Lowell Ackroyd, 1st Bt. and Joyce Wallce Whyte.¹ He married Caroline Rachel Josephine Lewis, daughter of Eric Lewis, on 17 June 1961.¹
     He was educated at Bradfield School, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1961 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived in 1999 at Nutfield, Wickhurst Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, England^G.¹

     Caroline Rachel Josephine Lewis is the daughter of Eric Lewis.¹ She married Christopher Lovell Ackroyd, son of Sir Cuthbert Lowell Ackroyd, 1st Bt. and Joyce Wallce Whyte, on 17 June 1961.¹
     From 17 June 1961, her married name became Ackroyd.¹

     Marcus Lowell Ackroyd was born on 5 April 1964.¹ He is the son of Christopher Lovell Ackroyd and Caroline Rachel Josephine Lewis.¹
