     Edward Ashe is the son of William Ashe.¹

     Catherine Bradford was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Bradford.¹ She married Colonel Sir William Pierce Ashe à Court, 1st Bt., son of General William Ashe à Court and Annabella Vernon, in 1769.¹ She died on 23 September 1776, without issue.¹ She was buried at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     From 1769, her married name became à Court.¹

     Lætitia Wyndham was the daughter of Henry Wyndham and Arundel Penruddock.¹ She married Colonel Sir William Pierce Ashe à Court, 1st Bt., son of General William Ashe à Court and Annabella Vernon, on 30 August 1777 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ She died on 2 August 1821.¹
     From 30 August 1777, her married name became Ashe-A’Court.¹

     Henry Wyndham was born on 20 August 1709 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.² He was the son of Wadham Wyndham.² He married Arundel Penruddock, daughter of Thomas Penruddock. He died on 5 October 1788 at age 79.²
     He lived at The Close, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Arundel Penruddock is the daughter of Thomas Penruddock.¹ She married Henry Wyndham, son of Wadham Wyndham.
     Her married name became Wyndham.

     Thomas Penruddock lived at Compton, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Sir William Acton, 1st Bt. was the son of Richard Acton and Margaret Daniel.¹ He married, firstly, Anne Bill, daughter of James Bill.¹ He married, secondly, Jane Johnson after 1624.¹ He died on 22 January 1650/51, without male issue.¹ His will (dated 30 May 1650) was proven (by probate) on 26 March 1651.¹
     On 7 September 1593 he was apprenticed in the Merchant Tailors Company.¹ On 18 January 1601 he was made free of his apprenticeship.¹ He held the office of Alderman of Aldersgate on 12 February 1627/28.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of London in 1628/29.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Acton, of the City of London [England] on 30 May 1629.¹ He was appointed Knight on 31 May 1629.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1640 and 6 October 1640, although he was discharged by the House of Commons on account of favouring the King.¹
     On his death, his Baronetcy became extinct.¹
