Hon. Philip Savage and Mary (?), in 1715.¹ He died on 8 February 1748/49 at age 61.² He was buried at Mullaghbracke, County Armagh, Ireland^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in 1749.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Acheson, of Market Hill [in Clonekearney], co. Armagh [N.S., 1628] in 1701.¹ He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, on 25 May 1705.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1707 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mullingar [Ireland] between 1727 and 1749.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of County Armagh in 1728.¹ His last will was dated 23 November 1748.

     Anne Savage was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Philip Savage and Mary (?)¹ She married Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt., son of Sir Nicholas Acheson, 4th Bt. and Anne Taylor, in 1715.¹ She died circa October 1737.¹ She was buried on 1 November 1737 at St. Audoen’s Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
     From 1715, her married name became Acheson.¹

     Rt. Hon. Philip Savage is the son of Valentine Savage. He married Mary (?)¹
     He held the office of Chancellor of the Exchequer [Ireland].¹

     Archibald Acheson, 1st Viscount Gosford of Market Hill was born on 1 September 1718.¹ He was also reported to have been born on 15 September 1717 at Markethill, Mullaghbrack, County Armagh, Ireland^G.³ He was the son of Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt. and Anne Savage.¹ He was baptised on 29 September 1718.¹ He married Mary Richardson, daughter of John Richardson and Anne Beckett, in 1740.¹ He died on 5 September 1790 at age 72 at Markethill, Mullaghbrack, County Armagh, Ireland^G.³
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the University of Dublin [Ireland] between 1741 and 1760.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Acheson, of Market Hill [in Clonekearney], co. Armagh [N.S., 1628] on 8 February 1748/49.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of County Armagh in 1751.¹ He held the office of Deputy Governor of County Armagh between 1756 and 1761.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of County Cavan in 1761.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Armagh [Ireland] between 1761 and 1776.^1,4 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 7 May 1770.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Enniskillen [Ireland] in 1776.¹ He was created 1st Baron Gosford of Market Hill, co. Armagh [Ireland] on 20 July 1776.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Gosford of Market Hill, co. Armagh [Ireland] on 20 June 1785.¹

     Nicholas Acheson was born before 1716.¹ He was the son of Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt. and Anne Savage.¹ He died circa January 1716/17.¹ He was buried on 12 January 1716/17 at St. Audoen’s Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Philip Acheson was the son of Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt. and Anne Savage.¹ He died circa May 1727.¹ He was buried on 22 May 1727 at St. Audoen’s Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Richardson was born in 1720.² She was the daughter of John Richardson and Anne Beckett.¹ She married Archibald Acheson, 1st Viscount Gosford of Market Hill, son of Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt. and Anne Savage, in 1740.¹ She died in May 1792.³
     From 1740, her married name became Acheson.¹ After her marriage, Mary Richardson was styled as Baroness Gosford of Market Hill on 20 July 1776. After her marriage, Mary Richardson was styled as Viscountess Gosford of Market Hill on 20 June 1785.

     John Richardson lived at Rich Hill, County Armagh, Ireland^G.¹

     Anne Beckett was the daughter of William Beckett.¹
