Sir William Douglas, 1st of Drumlanrig1

He was an envoy to England to negotiate for the release of King James I of Scotland in 1412.2 In 1412 he was granted the confirmatory charter for the territorial baronie of Drumlanrig, Hawick and Selkirk.2 He fought in the French Wars.

Archibald Douglas, 1st Earl of Forfar1 
He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] to King William II and to Queen Anne.3 He was created 1st Earl of Forfar [Scotland] on 2 October 1661.1 He was created 1st Lord Wandell and Hartside [Scotland] on 2 October 1661.1 He held the office of a Commissioner for the Privy Seal [Scotland] from 1689 to 1690.2 He held the office of a Commissioner of the Treasury [Scotland] from 1705 to 1706.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of Nationary Biography.4

Isabel Douglas, Countess of Mar1 
From before July 1388, her married name became Drummond. She succeeded as the 11th Countess of Mar [S., c. 1115] before 19 October 1393, suo jure.3 From between 5 December 1404 and 9 December 1404, her married name became Stewart. On 9 December 1404 she granted by charter the Earldom of Mar to her husband and heirs of their marriage, whom failing to her heirs.3
