Paul Karageorgievich, Prince of Yugoslavia was born on 15 April 1893 at St. Petersburg, RussiaG.3 He was the son of Arsene Karageorgievich, Prince of Serbia and Aurora Pavlovna Demidoff, Principessa di San Donato.1 He married Olga zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Princess of Greece and Denmark, daughter of Nicholaos zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Prince of Greece and Denmark and Elena Vladimirovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia, on 22 October 1923 at Church of the Old Palace, Belgrade, SerbiaG. He died on 14 September 1976 at age 83 at Paris, FranceG.
He gained the title of Prince Paul of Yugoslavia. He was adopted by Maria Pavlovna Demidoff, Principessa di San Donato and Semen Semovich Abamelik-Lazarev, Prince Abamelik-Lazarev. He held the office of Regent of Yugoslavia between 1934 and 1941.1

He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)5 He gained the rank of Major in the 1st King’s Dragoon Guards.5
